Finance Manager

Our client is a FCA Regulated Currency Market Expert, offering Foreign Exchange, FX Options, and Bespoke structured products.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller as a Finance Manager your main role will be working within the Finance team to take responsibility of the following key functions:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all month end processes

• Production of monthly management accounts and PowerPoint presentation

• Preparation of board packs for the quarterly Board meeting

• Balance sheet analysis - reconciliation of control accounts and intercompany balances

• Responsible (Oversight) for all BAU activities such as AP, bank reconciliations etc.

• Management of monthly payroll, currently outsourced to a third party

• Assist with year-end audit

• Oversee the work of one Finance Assistant with general bookkeeping duties

• Supporting the Group Financial Controller with a wide range of finance projects including process improvements and internal controls

• Work with the Group Financial Controller to bring continual excellence to the Finance function

• Provide a back up support in absence of the FP&A Manager to ensure regular reporting is carried out without any interruption

Required Experience:

• Strong attention to detail and time management

• CIMA / ACCA Qualified

• Self-motivation and commitment

• Experience working with cloud-based accounting programs

• Financial services experience, preferably within a SME will be advantageous

• Knowledge of Excel including pivot tables and v-lookups

• Friendly nature and personable
